It's nice change when you see free agents wanting to play for the Flames. Players are obviously noticing what is going on in Calgary and feel they will be given a fair chance at making the team.
Adding a high quality prospect for the defence is something we really needed and the best part is we didn't have to give up anything to sign him. Looking forward to seeing what he can do.

No. His NHL contract starts next season. He can play the rest of the season and playoffs in Adirondack.
