Don't think she said that at all. She was more arguing why after every big clean hit is there going to be a fight (subjective in this circumstance as I see some are saying it was dirty. Didn't look dirty to me.). Valid question but the other guys answered it nicely.

I have no problem with Leah Hextall at all. I think she does a fine job. She's enthusiastic, initiates the topics of conversation and I don't get the feeling that she was anti- fighting, she was just providing a counter point to the guy who was obviously pro fighting. I am annoyed by plenty of media people. Leah Hextall is not one of them.

Fighting in the sport is a method of self-governance. If players aren't held accountable to their actions on ice then will continue to commit the same transgressions time-and-time again. Sometimes hits are clean and sometimes they're not, players are going to react something of similar magnitude to the Reeves-Stajan hit regardless.
