Made their bed by laying a huge egg in the first leg, almost came all the way back. I had zero expectations coming into today, just hope Arsenal can use the disappointing result to motivate them in the league.

Is this a copy/paste of a response from last year?

Any Arsenal fan (I am one) knew this would happen. Crap the bed in the first leg then put together a valiant effort only to come up short. Now let's hear Wenger talk about the strong team spirit in his post game interview.

The predictability of this team is unbearable at times.

I was hoping they'd make it so that it would distract them in the League.

Could not agree more. However, I expected to concede 2 (the d is just shaky), score 3 (with the 3rd coming at around 80-85 minutes) and siege their goal, only to come up short. Guess I didn't get it exactly right, but pretty sad how the result basically equated to the same.

We should liquidise every asset we own, muster up every penny of credit we can and bet it all on the same crap next year.

You guys are looking good for the top four. If I had to die in a ditch over a prediction, I'd put you guys finishing second.

They're just having so much trouble coming by goals lately.

Atletico/Levekusen was an entertaining Penalty shoot out. Some great penalties, great misses and one fantastic save on a very good penalty.

			Cue the 'Woe is EPL.'
If City lose today then all 4 EPL teams will have been eliminated.

Though Dortmund is about as disappointing as possible this season, their fans are still amazing:
Going to be really tough to get 2 against Juventus in the second half.

I've just been watching a few minutes here and there of the City game, but every time I look up Hart is making a great save.
Aguero had a chance from the penalty spot, but his penalty was awful. Still 1-0 Barca at the moment.

			Agreed, Hart has been outstanding.
Just looking at today's games, ter Stegen looks to supplant himself as Neuer's back-up, as Weidenfeller perhaps should've save two today, and in the least got a piece of them.

Weidenfeller has been terrible all season, I'd be shocked if Dortmund didn't buy a new goalkeeper this summer. Timo Horn, probably.

Much better second half for ManCity but Barca was too much for them in the end. Game could have ended with a larger margin but Hart played a great game.

Too bad for the EPL teams, would have loved to see Arsenal go further. Chelsea and Mourinho going out does make me happy though. Can't wait to see the draw on Friday.

			Surprise, surprise.
	http://www.espnfc.com/uefa-champions...-to-be-changedQuote:

		| LONDON -- Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has called on the game's authorities to amend what he described as the "outdated" away goals rule in European competitions.
Monaco beat Arsenal on away goals after a 3-3 aggregate draw in the Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday and the Gunners also suffered the same fate against Bayern Munich in 2013.

Wenger believes the time has come to make a change to a rule initially introduced to encourage away teams to play with a more attacking mindset several decades ago.

insist the absence of an English side in the last eight of the Champions League is not necessarily a sign of a decline in standards in the Premier League as a whole.

"You cannot draw general conclusions from that," he argued as he reflected on a poor week for English clubs against their European rivals.
