Dunno why they don't just bring Tom back from Villa.

His passing game would suit the 'philosophy' just fine.

I should have never doubted Michael Carrick and just trust Sir Alex on this matter.

Quote:
Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says Michael Carrick is "the best English player" around.

"I think Michael's the best central midfielder in English football," Ferguson told BT Sport. "I think he's the best English player in the game."
United still have an hour to mess this up though.

Not even sure why Spurs bothered getting off the bus today. Embarrassing, pathetic, bush league. One of the worst performances from a club I've ever witnessed. Dier and Walker looked like they barely belonged on an intramural squad.

NOW, THAT's what I'm talking about.

Is this a new LVG? What a turn of face, to field the front 6 that he did.

My lord Phil Jones.

Arsenal have 3rd locked up essentially, so only real hope for 4th now is if in their 4 games vs Arsenal/Liverpool/Chelsea/City United take less than 6 points

Don't look now, but Arsenal is only 1 point behind City, United point behind Arsenal.

ya I should have said top 3, but them getting 2nd wouldnt surprise me

I said the same thing a few pages ago, their schedule is just so favorable, would be a real shock if they dropped

United have a tough schedule, Liverpool not too bad, Spurs favorable going forward

Carrick isn't signed yet for next season, and god, Casillas got booed by at the Bernebeau today ---> i just can't see us keeping De Gea either

Was an ugly win. Everyone besides Mignolet was terrible in the first half. Second half was better and got a lucky goal to go with it.

Sets up a heck of a match next week against United.

Yeah, we had to keep pace. In think this one is going to go down to the wire and no one wants to be the team without a chair when the music stops.

Imagine if Suarez had stayed.
