I had an idea to use the song "Say something" with a reverse theme of the Oilers and the Leafs who have also used this song. This was because our playoff push is the reverse of what we were expected to be this season and rather than giving up on the team as they have, I support the team with more pride than I have ever had before for the Calgary Flames organization.
Here goes? I mainly had it in my head as my idea of a response to a 3rd period come back hope or pride in a well fought Flames loss. Hopefully, it's not an unenjoyable read.
Tossed, looking for a better idea.

That's fair, I was more playing around with this tune as a semi troll... but I understand the sentiment too.
Suggestion for songs to tinker around with?
We are a community brought together by our love of a sport and a team, and not at all our taste in music. It will be difficult to find a song that everyone, or even a majority like.
I applaud you efforts in turning your creativity this way, and hope you do not take criticisms too personally.
I would suggest a something celebratory or that promotes a feel of building excitement.
Thunderstruck by ACDC, Come With Me Now by Kongos, Blurred Lines by Thicke, or if those are too rockish Let it Go from Frozen
Come With Me Now - seconded. We could all get behind the WOAH!
I have noticed at other arenas that the fans have quite a few set pieces - particularly after a goal. The Rangers for one is awesome. I've tried to start a Ramo chant after a great save but no-one joins in

What's with all these mediocre 2015 pop songs...the trend right now is a sort of slow, depressing, heavy, dark R&B (Sam Smith, the Take me to Church song, Lorde, etc.) and it's awful for a sports team.
