frustrating game to watch... officiating changed the momentum of the game.
Tanguay is a slick talent... don't like him, but he's got some of the best vision in the league.
Landeskog seems like a really dumb player.
I hate the Avs, they remind me of the Canucks for some reason.

Good game. Sure bad reffing but that is no excuse. Compliments to a strong game from Colorado. They had us running around a lot. They looked sharp.

Same here. Weird eh?
A lot more fun than pouring over the 2015 draft class like Oiler's fans though.

At least it was entertaining to watch Angry Monkey Roy lose his crap a few times. The Refs were the worst ive seen in a very long time but the Flames seems a little flat for the first two. The Avs also did a really good job shutting Gaudreau and Monahan down.

Unfortunate. The team had a great first period but looked tired in the second period. Hell of an attempt to come back and tie this one, but at the end of the day you're not going to win them all. Their record in the second night of back to backs is astounding.
Regroup and get ready for St. Louis.

Didn't catch most of the game (mom's birthday) - from what I'm reading that last missed call on Bouma seems to be par for the course with the officiating? Or was it just bad all around?
Loved seeing the replay of the Bouma goal, at least.

2nd goal was bad as well as it was like he played the pass and gave O'Reilly the side of the net when he was at a bad angle. This isn't the first time Ramo has done this leaving his post leaving a shooter an open side when playing solid positioning should make for an easy save.

They were terrible defensively in the first two periods and left Ramo hung out to dry. It didn't help that the reffing was suspect, and the ice was brutal with the puck bouncing around all over the place. But it ain't Ramo's fault.

Brodie can't be awesome every game. He had a bad game and that really was the difference if you ask me. Flames pushed hard at the end. Just wish they would have pushed that hard early on.

Horribad ice at the Pepsi Center. Makes the Panthers ice look amazing.
Give the Avs credit. They played a really strong game, and they defended well with a lot of stick checks. However, they had plenty of stick fouls that should have been called.
Flames looked tired, but still found a way to make this interesting.
Oh well, I knew this was going to be rough. Crazy travel all the way to Colorado after playing last night. That doesn't happen often anymore.
|
Unreal considering that's about the same distance as travelling between Calgary and San Jose, or Minneapolis. At least it's in the same time zone?

The Avs played well. They are a better team recently than their overall record indicates, but man some of the ref calls were terrible. I am not blaming them for the loss, but I will blame them for making the game less enjoyable.

Se La Vie bring it back into the next one, we can do this the heart of flames burns in everyone and we won't be held back from the PO's we deserve!

Brodie was very off tonight. Oh well it's done and over, rest up and go on another nice win streak.
Oh the officiating was awful. I mean really bad.
