I'm okay with Ferland sitting. In his pregame today he was praising the Bollig/Stajan line for the way they directed him and it made me wonder, maybe it's better for all these guys' development to play less games, but play them on these veteran lines and rotate.
My only guess for Poirier sitting is to force his ELC to slide by keeping him to 9 games on the season unless he really blows them away right before playoffs.
