Well he should probably resort to message boards rather than the media when it comes to trash talking one of his players, like the rest of the teams' fans.

Okay, I wont argue with you on that, he should have shut the hell up on that one, but in the grand scheme of building a team that hasnt missed the playoffs in what seems like forever, he isnt a terrible GM, I'm surprised people are calling for his head.
He built a perennial powerhouse that inexplicably, INEXPLICABLY, couldnt get it done in the playoffs. No one knows why the Sharks are constant playoff chokers, they just are. You can set your watch to it.
Other than this one comment I cant think of another transgression hes made to deserve being tarred and feathered. If anything, Jumbo Joe has to shoulder some of the blame for the lack of the team's success.

Locke, Wilson has had opportunities to fire McLellan before, as rumors had him on thin ice after the playoff collapses...Wilson never pulled the trigger. Similarly, when the decision was made to reduce Thornton's leadership role, by removing him from the captaincy, it set up a potentially toxic situation, that is now painfully obvious. GM mistakes by Wilson, and cumulatively, these may cost him his job, too. Bottom line, Saint Joe is a hot mess, and only a miracle finish and a deep playoff run, can save ANY of those involved.

Im not claiming that Wilson is a bad GM, just that I think his time in SJ will be over. It's a results based business and the results just havent been there the past 3-4 years. This year just seems like the final straw, maybe just McLellan will go but I think it will be a house cleaning there and honestly I think it's due. SJ has been spinning their tires for a while now.

Berglund puts the Blues up 1-0 against the Wild.
Edit: Called off as the goal actually never went in the net. Strange play.

Scheifele gets hit with a big hipcheck by Stralman, appears to be injured.
That would just be terrible...
Bob Cole has no idea what's going on, claiming it was an elbow when it was clearly hip into Scheifele's hip / knee at worst.

Doesn't look like the Leafs are going to do us any favours tonight. They actually had a really good PP going with one missed open night and it goes the other way. Now they score again. 3-0.

Looked like a reasonable hip check to me.... although only saw it once. He didn't go super low.

I'm not really seeing what's wrong with that hit on Scheifele. He caught him on the hip, but it wasn't really a low bridge or a knee. I have no idea what they're talking about with the elbow.
