These pools are terribly addictive.

I catch myself yelling at a D-man to shoot just so I can get a SOG. Every little bit counts...

Haha sure looks that way. I am seriously impressed with how terrible my team performed.

You'd think a team with Galchenyuk, Forsberg, Kucherov, Tyler Johnson, Seguin and others could manage more than a single assist, right?

Or that the best goaltender in the league would come out at least with positive points?

Not on this night. I'd wager we don't see a score below 8 ever again!

Since there's very little regular season left any interest in a Saturday pool as well? I'd even be down with a Tues, Thursday, Saturday and them being $5. I don't mind $10, I just like being in action.

I would be in for Saturday. $5 would be good (but $10 is fine also)

Yeah we definitely need to do this more than once/week. I think Thursday and Saturday $10 per (but would be ok with $5 also!)

I'm in for Saturday considering I missed out last night. It is probably a good thing that I was late in registering because my team likely would have sucked.

Haha...I've turned you into a bunch of fiends...just itching for more. I love it.
Whoever made the crack reference a few days ago nailed it on the head.
I play almost every day, so I'm always open to add more on here too.
I'll set one up for Saturday. Are you all ok with the process now of updating the main title thread with the post location of the next games?

Congrats to CroFlames for winning the first game. Super impressive, especially since 3 of your players had zero points. Good job to all that won. And to those that failed miserably, like I did, there's always next time.

User Score Prizes
croflames 37.9 $48.00
heep223 34.4 $30.00
j3mj3y 31.85 $18.00
grateone 28.1 $12.00

Not a huge deal for me to be honest. I play multiple lines/day, so if this one doesn't go through, I still have more that play anyway. Plus, we all get refunded if the matches get cancelled, so it's not a biggie to me at all.

I think this is a fantastic idea and will use it for sure.

This. I do it often and strongly agree to do it if you're in a rush as it will save your space and you can edit later.

It sucks when you choose someone who's playing against the Flames and you're secretly hoping they score just to boost your own score. It's super hard. I also find myself watching more games that I normally would not watch, and also refreshing the live scoring almost every 5 minutes. Very, very addicting, but I love it.

So...I'll set one up for tomorrow and will post it here tonight when the games go live. Maybe make it for 20 people at $5 each? What do you guys think?

count me in.

Make a list of confirmed people and make the tourney for that size.

We can shame the people that committed and forgot to enter if the tourney doesn't fire up. Hopefully I'm not one of them.

I say let's experiment with a $5 pool on Saturday. My guess is you'd have more people join up, and the prize could potentially be bigger with the $5 pool.

I picked Lack as my goalie yesterday thinking that it was a win-win situation.

I am in for Saturday. $5 is good.
