considering the cap space, extra picks, and how the team has played this year I think there will be one or two pretty big moves to bolster the roster
exciting times, but we can't count on a million miracle comebacks. The fact that so much has gone the Flames way this year and they are still a bubble team show how tough it is to make the playoffs these days

...here we were thinking of adding defensemen at the trade deadline and getting rid of Engeland or Smid...
...but the real solution is removing the Norris defenseman from your team

This year he has been more than a solid #4 type guy and even playing well as a #2.
Maybe he regresses again, but he has certainly been better than a 5 type guy since game 3 of the season.
