Why do you have to be so damn negative all the time?

Polak is just fishing for attention like he always does. All year long it was he and Doom just mooning game threads until Doom got the axe. Hopefully Polak gets the same fate because all he does is cast negativity to garner attention / responses. Tiresome.

Wow. I should be banned cause I'm not cheery enough for you?

I'm not trying to get your attention at all. Sorry I didn't know every thing in this forum had to be a circle j*** about how awesome everything Flames related is. Someone pencilling the Jets to fall out like it's a guarantee seems pretty cocky considering our team.
This team has not been playing great highlighted by constantly falling behind. Add the fact that we lost our best player and it's very easy to see why we're the most likely to fallout.

Just IMO obvs

I'm travelling 11,000km to watch their last game of the season so I'm hoping it's the one that knocks one of them out and pushes Calgary into a playoff spot

It's exactly what Moon and Doom did. No difference.

Lots of reasons on both sides.
Against the flames: underlying numbers, even traditional ones like Shots on goal, shooting %, etc. Loss of Giordano (sure they won, but not really a recipe for future success the way they did). Many hockey minds feel that way
For the flames: Current record, tightness of team has them punching above their weight class, goal differential, Boblieve
It's a perfectly defensible position

How so?
I haven't attacked anyone or posted negative stuff in every thread?

That doesn't sound at all like the Flames are "by far" the most susceptible.
They have games in hand on the Jets, and hold tie-breakers over them and LA, and they have the easier schedule. That looks pretty positive to me.

You're a constant, enduring negative presence in every game related thread you post in. Whether you know it or not you do it for attention. When you need to take the doom and gloom approach every time, it becomes a schtick. It's exactly what Moon and Doom did. It's tiresome.

Haven't had much of an issue with polak overall, but the past few days his negativity has been pretty noticeable, and in a week where the team has done nothing but positive things. What I don't understand is how people who have such a grim outlook on things can enjoy posting their doom and gloom comments constantly. It would get very tiresome for me if I had nothing positive or hopeful to talk about. This team and its entire season to this point has been a success story, you seriously couldn't have expected a better outcome back in october, so maybe try enjoying the ride and stop trying to limit this team and what it can do.

I don't like John Gibson. Hope we put 5 goals past him. In the first period.

First game in 4 years(?) ill be attending. Last one was Glencross scoring a hat trick against the Canes, hopefully this one has a similar result with a different player

Yeah there's no need to beat up on Polak. There are always people who have a more negative view on things, but as long as it's grounded in reality I have no problem reading/hearing it. I tend to be more positive, and I bet it's really grating on those that have the opposite viewpoint, but I keep it realistic.
All viewpoints are welcome as long as they aren't hyperbolic or non-sensical.

You are also forgetting about how we hold the tiebreaker over everyone in our division save Anaheim and I believe over Winnipeg as well. In fact, Minnesota is the only team chasing us that we dont hold the tiebreak over if im not mistaken. I think that may outweigh our missing Gio and 3rd period comebacks
