The Ottawa game is one of many examples, as Resolute says. They keep doing this.
More importantly, though, I posted a GIF. You then launched into a diatribe about possession statistics, which I was not discussing. Hence my use of the term "Jihad". You're basically following me around, waiting for me to post anything regardless of content and then trying to start an internet debate.
That's sort of hilarious, but again, I think it would be healthier (and produce less derailment of threads) if you just put me on ignore, since my existence clearly offends you.

Perfect, not just for that game, but several other games this season.

Get over yourself. I've been posting all over this forum for close to ten years now. I don't follow anybody around, and frankly, you're not important enough to follow.

The only thing about you that offends me is your irrational attachment to two numbers at the expense of all other information about the game of hockey.

Walking away, like a guy who thinks nobody will notice he's a klutz if he just acts cool. Like he can wish away his failure by pretending it never happened.
I'm just not getting the same vibe from that GIF that you are. Not the same vibe at all.

I don't know why that would offend you. If it were goals for and goals against, I suppose it wouldn't. But it's clearly nonsense anyway. I can list about twenty different metrics I think are useful depending on the context, many of which can explain why a team would succeed in spite of being mediocre from a fenwick or corsi standpoint.
Anyway, your anger here really says a lot more about you than it does about me. Like I say, they're just numbers; if they make you emotional like this, the problem lies with you.

Then why don't you? Why do you insist on riding the bandwagon with those people who keep saying that the Flames are destined to fail?

You're projecting. I am not ‘emotional like this’. Though if you keep trying to do amateur psychoanalysis over the Internet, you'll run through my patience a lot faster than you've done before now.

Getting testy around here lately. That what you get for having two days with no games.

Hahaha, at which point, you'll angrily attack me out of the blue on a topic I wasn't even talking about? Or come find me and kick my ass? Seriously, calm the f down... once again, I posted a GIF.

I used that gif in the Boston PGT.....the home game against Boston, when we came back from 3-0 to win.
It's very applicable to this team, I take no offense.

We're all very invested into whats happening in the NHL right now.
I love being fan of a team that matters again, but with that, you get passion back into it and thus more arguments... even with people who in the end want the samething you do and will be celebrating or mourning with you!

Ya it's better to be emotional and argumentative (CP) than listless and uninterested (HF Oilers).

Not sure how you get "angrily", "attack", or ass kicking out of a series of posts. You are projecting now...

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

So now that the Flames are ahead of the Jets... I expect McCurdy's crap chart should have the Flames chances at about 45% and the Jets at 75%?

You might think the Flames were lucky to score on so few shots in the last half of the game, but they create blue chip scoring chances and they have some big time finishers.
Is there an advanced stat that compares scoring chances rather than shots? That would be more telling.
