Icon45 Kadri scratched for next 2 games *Kadri now suspended for 4 games for hit on Fraser

Just when you thought things were bad enough in Leaf land. First Kadri was sent home for oversleeping and missing a team meeting at the practice facility, followed by being scratched for the game vs the Islanders. It is now reported that he will also be a scratch for the Leafs next two games. (Sorry don't have a link yet) heard it on the Fan960. Kid has all the potential in the world its time he gets his #### together. Perhaps the Leafs look to deal him in the off season

I thought the oversleeping might have been a DST issue. I didn't know he missed practice (I thought he was not allowed to practice because he missed the meeting).

It looks like it's more. You don't scratch him 2 games just for that.

20 mins late for a team meeting at the practice facility, you're right my bad.

Sounds like he's just being a good team player. They really want to drop further down the standings, and they're willing to not ice the best team possible to do it.

Weird, I wonder what else there is to this story.

What is DST?

Really good race in the West for the last two playoff spots and this news has dominated even on 960 the past couple of days. In the big picture this is the equivalent of Mayson Raymond sitting in the pressbox for a couple of games yet its national news and top story on the Canadian sports networks. This is why the Leafs can never be good.

And people wonder why we hate the Toronto based media.

Kessel and JVR will be benched for some reason soon too, to aid with the McDavid push.

It's an RFA year for Kadri this year. Maybe Toronto is looking for a way to sign him for less this time around? I wouldnt bet he is still in Toronto for the 2015/16 season

Phaneuf needs to throw Kadri's tracksuit in the shower.

Couldn't believe this story was headlining sportscenter yesterday with analysis from Dreger ect before they even got to the other NHL highlights. Leafs soap opera more important than Vancouver playoff hunt.

Based on their schedule, this mean he sits out against the Flames on Friday.

This means Kadri will miss the game against us but come back pissed off to play in the game against Vancouver; I'm good with that!

I don't even watch TSN when it comes to hockey. Sportsnet actually acknowledges all the Canadian teams.

Could be a good buy-low player to pick up. He is a year older than Evander Kane, and has an almost identical points per game average (slightly higher in fact).

Kessel is already doing a lot to help the tank.
