Agreed. I actually like other fans posting on the forum. Gives it the forum more diverse perspectives. I don't know why some people feel the need to chase them away and belittle them.

What is the rule for covering the puck in your own crease with the goalie pulled? Shouldn't that have been an awarded goal?

edit: nbc play by play said the puck was shot into the body not covered by a hand. I still think the rule should be an awarded goal though.

I think people were just giving them the gears, they are welcome to be on here but expect the gears, especially given the situation and when the posts were made throughout the night

Pretty much anything that would result in a penalty shot would be an awarded goal, yes. What game was this from?

The only game on. The Lanche predictably pulled the goalie with 5 minutes left and LA came close to scoring but the puck ended up under a Colorado player. I edited my post above after I heard an explanation after the commercial break.

The rule should be that if the puck ends up covered by a defender in the crease under any circumstance it results in a penalty shot/awarded goal.

Actually, it's not your board either (nor mine).

We welcome all fans from rival teams here as long as they follow the rules. If you believe they are not, report the posts. If they are, then they can post here as much as they want. It's usually pretty obvious when a rival fan is here just to stir stuff up, but if they aren't and you still don't like it maybe you should stay out of the thread, put them on ignore, or post somewhere else.
