Let's just hope Colarado can beat L.A tomorrow.

If we beat Anaheim, and Toronto this week, I say we may have some comfort for a little bit

He's going to be a good player, but he's 2nd line ceiling imo.

Listening to Canuck fans, you'd think Horvat and a few of their other top prospects are guaranteed first liners. The over-rating of their middling prospects is crazy.

sounds like Flames fans when we had no prospects, Sven should fit in well there

The Ducks really let us down tonight. Lack had a good game. Caught the OT/SO of the Penguins-Sharks game. 7 SO rounds later, the Sharks end up winning.

That would be sweet. It's in Denver, so anything is possible, and the Kings don't have the best road record.

Haven't heard any Canucks fans mention Horvat and Calder. He has been a pleasant surprise though and I'm happy he is producing this early in his career.

I'm hoping to win 2/3 of the next 3 (home vs Anaheim, home vs Toronto, at Colorado on the back-to-back).

Best bet is on Toronto/Colorado, especially with our fantastic record on the 2nd nights of back-to-backs so far.

If we were tied with the Wild and didn't have 3rd place right now, would we be in wild card or out ?

In. Minnesota has more ROW than Calgary, but are ahead of the Jets. So the Flames would be the #2 Wild Card team.

How does Pittsburgh not win in a skills competition? Geez.

And I have no words for the Ducks, outshooting Vancouver by a massive margin and cough up a lead late in regulation. Why are you even at the top of the standings again? Weak.

This is what I love about hockey. Screw advanced stats, screw any stat except wins.

The way these playoff races are going with absolute desperation and testing of mettle. If you survive the stretch drive, you absolutely 100% deserve to be one of the elite 16.

There are no "accidental" playoff teams. For this reason if we do make the playoffs, I'm not quite certain my heart will survive. As we have as good a chance as any to win a round or more.

No help on the out of town boards tonight.

This next five weeks is going to turn us Flames fans into chronic nail biters!

Horvat is as statistically good right now as Jooris. Big effin whoop.

I guess a prospect nearing 30 points is something special when your prospect pipeline has been bone dry for years. They're basically Sven Baertschi-ing him.

Me either, this is a Flame fan stirring the pot. Not once have I heard anyone out here talk about Horvat and Calder in the same sentence.
