Tale of two Alberta cities. Edmonton up 3 lose 7-4.
Flames down 4. Force a shoot out.

I don't get how anybody can argue with using Jooris again the next chance you get.
That is because Jooris did not score that's why Hartley's move was questioned. If Jooris scored noone will even question it just like when Schlemko scored the winning shootout goal vs Boston. I bet if he didn't score people will be throwing tantrum wondering why the heck Hartley used a D on a shootout.

Yup, no problem with the shootout. Schlemko doesnt hit the post and rest is moot.

Or the muffed Sens player shot gets stopped, player selection moot.

All other issues aside for the moment: being complimentary of the other team is actually allowed and encouraged on these boards, when warranted, and does not make that poster a closet fan of the other team.

What needs to be dropped is this whole thing, by everyone, now.

The reddit game thread is amazing... http://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/comme...tors/?sort=new

Start at the bottom (on default settings, right where the comeback kicks into gear) and watch the stream of emotions from Flames, Sens, Kings, Sharks, Canucks and Jets fans.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Russel and Wideman have combined for 9 points in the past 3 games.

That kind of play gets you sent to the KHL

I bet if there was continuous OT instead of a coin flip shoot out, we're walking away with two. Man, if they make the post-season whoever we play should be nervous. The fact that if we make the playoffs in year 2 of a rebuild is amazing, anything after that is pure gravy. This could be a very dangerous team come April.

Schlemko did what I thought he might do on his second shootout. Sorta faked the Schlem and let going to the forehand.
