Sens just seem to have more energy. Flames must be exhausted after their road trip.

Seen this before. They can't keep spotting teams 2-0 leads, but I'm not freaking out quite yet.

The last 2 or 3 seasons I'd probably turn off my TV right now.
Not this season.

Sens look extremely fast and on point. Flames look tired. Hopefully they find their legs in the second and third.

That side of the goal has been open on Ramo a fair bit lately, but the D has usually been able to deflect the pass.

Yup. They might want to take a look at the standings during the intermission. Can't afford to coast through this game.

I don't think it was as bad as the score suggests. A few weird bounces are the difference.
Jooris was close to making it 1-0 Flames too.

Sens playing at a really high level right now. Flames are competing hard, but Sens just too cohesive as a 5 man unit right now.
1st goal was poor by both Diaz and Schlemko, 2nd was a really smart play by Ottawa that nobody but Michalek knew was happening.
Flames had some nice chances in that period but couldn't sustain any pressure. Need to dominate a couple of shifts early to get some momentum back.

Man, Raymond looks awful out there. Have to hand it to the Sens, they have great body positioning in the defensive zone and it is making Calgary's entry and puck retention impossible.

Flames Senators GT
They just didn't seem to be clicking. I wonder if they are pretty tired at the end of this road trip. I could imagine the Dmen are.
Theo looks old!

I'm trying not to jump on Ramo after how he's played on this road trip but that one was pretty ugly. No reason that one should sneak by him.

F###. Was hoping to see a favourable or at least acceptable score. Why must we dig ourselves holes early, so often?
Ah, well.. plenty of reason to believe.

Disagree completely with the first statement. Flames were getting worked over very badly. If the Flames don't find their A legs and game, this won't end well.

I know the silly extreme stuff is your gig, but if Ottawa wins tonight they'll be 4 pts out of a playoff spot with less games played then everyone around them.
They've got really good goaltending but they've also been playing really well these days. It's good to check around the league sometimes, bud.

If there's anything this season has taught me it's to not count this team out until the final buzzer has sounded.
Diaz is noticeably weak on the puck tonight.
Non the less, Flames skate off after 3 victorious.

Falling behind 2-0 isn't the problem, I think that what will hurt most about that last goal is the nature of it and when it happened.

Flames were on top of them off the bat, but the Sens clearly owned the play from about 5 minutes onward. Yes, Jooris almost scored, but the rest of the Flames play in the Sens end was pretty peripheral. Can't single out anyone (including Raymond) for criticism though. I do think Shore has played fairly well, even though he was out for one goal. So far, he and Jones may have the most jump.
