Eh, this idea of Nash as a "Two-Way forward" is not true. Ovechkin is easil;y better.

You mean "controller disconnected" Ovechkin?

Neither Nash nor Ovechkin are anywhere close to two-way forwards.

He compared him to guys like Kopi and Toews, so far this year he's been better than both IMO. Ovie is still the Caps MVP but Backstrom was for the first half and then Ovie went crazy and started scoring goals every game. For the record I love Ovie, but I think him and Backs cancel each other out. I agree with another poster that it was a race between Kane and Price until Kane went down.

Price plays with good players too? Would Price look so good in Edmonton? Hart typically goes to the best player, even though the definition does say most valuable to their team.

If you had told me this last year I wouldn't have believed you, but Nash has actually been a pretty good two way player this year. He's obviously not gonna win the Selke, but he's been good.
You think Phil Kessel is a passable two way forward, so your opinion doesn't matter anyways.

I voted yes solely for these reasons:
I don't like Carey Price and I don't like the Habs.
Keep in mind, I would start liking the Habs a teenie bit more if they beat LA tonight.

Nash is the guy they usually used in a defensive role on Team Canada. So he's not Doug Jarvis or Guy Carbonneau, but he's decent.
Ovechkin isn't defensive at all. He hits. But I don't think he plays solid positional D.

He has been playing much better defensively this year than previously. Not Selke level obviously but better.

I would vote Rinne.
If Rinne played in a traditional hockey market he'd be given much more respect and consideration.

Ovechkin is far, far better offensively and much more consistent than Nash.

Well Ovi just scored his 50th.
Anyone wanna change their mind about the Hart?

Nope. Price is still by far the most valuable player to his team AINEC.

How the Hart is guaranteed for Price is beyond me. His GAA is 1.92 (second is at 2.05), .936 save percentage (second is at .930), tied for 41 wins (third is at 37), and tied for 9 shut outs. That is as close to God like for a goalie to maintain those numbers all season.

Carey Price still has a 1.90GAA and a .936SV%.... so no I'm good.

Might come down to which does the NHL want to celebrate most - saves or goals? Both are worthy candidates.

No. of 50 Goal Seasons
Gretzky - 9
Bossy - 9
Dionne - 6
Lafleur - 6
Lemieux - 6
Ovechkin - 6
He is now in pretty rarefied air - would seem Hart worthy.
