We weren't in a position to be trading dmen anyways.

The NHL wishes Philadelphia won that game. Everybody knows the league holds a grudge against certain teams, especially western Canadian teams that aren't Vancouver or Edmonton.
On an unrelated note, I am out of tinfoil, please send more.

Forget about the third. For the D corps hit the cold tub and enjoy the day off tomorrow. Going to be good to have a fresh D man in Schlemko coming in

This team is in great shape really. In the middle of a playoff hunt with a young inexperienced undersized core and no captain. We need one or two big dmen and the team has a core for a decade. The Flames should be nowhere near where they are right now.

Huh, so he did. I never heard his name mentioned once on TV and missed him in the ice time sheet. Hopefully either he or Schlemko are able to handle a few more minutes than that to take the load off of guys like Engelland and Wideman, they looked completely gassed in the 3rd

Engelland looked like a $3 million player tonight. Treliving knew what he was doing.

Thought Poirier had a good game, Shore too. Wideman played well I thought.
Different Flames took turns playing well, and then not. Johnny was good at the beginning and end, not the middle.
And while they could have been scored on more in the third, they also could have been up more after the first.

This was the Flames twelfth win this year in extra time or SO! That 's twelve clutch points.

Glad the Johnny home coming part of the trip is over. Now he can probably concentrate more on just playing and get more rest on the off days. Not his best games the last little bit. Nice chip to Brodie on the game winner though!

Just a circus in the Flames end in the third, but what a W! Ramo is making me a believer.

We should be sending someone out to get coincidental minors. Don't know the stats, but it seems like the Flames consistently do well 4 on 4.

Johnny has one proud Dad. He looked jacked with the OT win.

Huge win. Ramo with another great game -- I was worried after that second goal that he might be injured.
