been reported on twitter since early this morning but looks like it is close to being finalized

To be fair Buffalo came out day one with their bad roster and the Coyotes mid season completely pulled the plug like no other team in some time. They just decimated their blueline like a team that decided they have the remaining 20 or so games to out-fail Buffalo.

But seriously Coburn and Michalek were two top 4 D that I wish the Flames had picked up a year or two sooner when this market wasn't being built on media speculation and complete insanity.

I feel like if we could have picked up Michalek for a 3rd rounder and a B-level, we should have pulled the trigger.

Unless Chris Johnston erred in his tweet, which I believe may be a possibility, he's saying St. Louis got the conditional third.
