Default Treliving will be as aggressive as can be at deadline

Looks like we won't be sleeping at the deadline

If you listened to his interview, it was classic GM double speak talk.

Saying one thing but then qualifying it to make the aforementioned statement almost meaningless.

does glencross stay with the team after this game on this road trip or do the flames send him home to wait for a trade?

Why would you think they would send him home?

just thinking since they don't play again until after the deadline what's the point of keeping him around when he can be at home and properly prepare to be moved.

That would be awful for the team. He should enjoy his time with his teammates and leave only if and when he is traded.

Doesn't really work that way. He'll be traded though, hope he has a good game tonight as a send off.

Especially after everything he has done for this team, he's been a pain in the butt this season but in general his time here has been pretty good if you ask me.

Probably time to be "aggressive" starting in about 30 minutes. Scoring is at a premium, opponents are tuning into JG, rendering him a lot less effective, and if that line's not going good, most likely the other lines aren't either.

Ramo's been good this trip, the defense has been good, but needs another 4/5 guy, long before Gio's injury, and the team needs some scoring and some depth up front as well....if the goal is to make the playoffs and the development of the roster gets out of the chase, and the playoffs themselves.

"We will/will not make/not make any/no deals that make sense to us. We have to stay on track on the rebuild while trying to win now."

I guess media need to fill air time with something. Very few GMs are going to give a straight answer.

Most likely the only thing that happens is Glencross is moved.

Semin would be a really good gamble for the Flames right now. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing them try to inject another skill guy with scoring ability into the lineup. We need an experienced guy that knows how to use open ice and comes at a low acquisition cost. Semin fits that bill.

Semin is a pouty quitter. Not what you want in that dressing room.
