Glencross hasn't played well but Backlund is getting a bit of free pass from fans as he's been pretty bad all road trip and after a good start coming back from injury isn't exactly playing himself into a long term contract with this team.

It feels like being this close to the playoffs is getting to the player's heads. We're playing like we are afraid to lose, rather than the torpedoes-be-damned let's go for it attitude of the last half of last season and the first two thirds of this one.
