Inj happen all time but Kane's broken clavicle was very bad for Chi and if Gio's suspected shoulder is, say, 4-6 wks can Calg survive that?
^^ This is the first anyone has mentioned the possibility of 4 - 6 weeks?!
Calm down.
Matheson is very obviously not speaking from any position of knowledge. He is just positing the question of whether the Flames could survive a long term injury. Exactly the same as we have.
3 sources confirmed he left with an injury. How was that title misleading?
By using the [News] tag, it mislead people into thinking there was an update to a situation that almost all Flames fans knew about since last night and were expecting news about that morning.
And using the word injury without a qualifier seemed to indicate the next day evaluation was already done and it was bad news.

Well for starters I didn't use the "news" tag. I don't think it's fair that you can assume that all flames fans knew about the injury. Some of my friends didn't know that he suffered a possible injury at the end of last game and I think it's safe to assume that many others didn't know as well.
As far as the word injury goes, that's what they called it on the Fan this morning and also in the sources I posted. I also stated that he "apparently" left the game with an injury.
Either way it doesn't matter let's move on and hope that Gio doesn't miss much time if any at all

1. There was definitely a [news] tag before the edit, don't backtrack now.
2. I didn't assume anything, I am just telling you that any Flames fan that knew about the injury last night and the evaluation the next day had their heart drop into their stomach after reading that title.

I'm not back tracking at all because I didn't use the news tag. I guess you can also get upset at the Fan this morning and all the other sources for suggesting that he suffered an injury. Not every Flames fan watches the game and many don't read the PGT.
Sorry if I stepped on your toes and don't kiss your ass like everyone else on this board.I know you like to be the first one to break any news because it's apparent you treat it like a full time job.

I never got upset, I just tried rationally explaining it to you.
Also I like to post news because it generates discussion, don't really care who does it. I do spend a lot of time on this site, but that is my decision.
And you most definitely used [News] in the title.

Fair enough. I honestly don't remember if I did or not. Either way it is news that he suffered an injury vs the Devils which is exactly what all 3 sources and the Fan relayed it as. I apologize for not being more transparent and causing a freak out. That was not my intention.
Also saying "worst thread title ever" is not rationally explaining anything. You could have easily said that he apparently suffered an injury and should update your thread title
