Summer Camps for Kids!
Hey all!
We have just launched a new website offering exciting, innovative and engaging new summer camps that will blow young minds! 
In our camps kids get to do something they never thought possible; they will build, code and program their own robot in a week! They can also try their hand at being an engineer for a week, or become an entrepreneur and launch their own business! We also offer highly interactive and engaging math and science camps that include art, music, movement and more!

Math Camp: Fostering Fractional and Algebraic Thinking Skills (Gr 6-8)
Does your child struggle with fractions or pre-algebra? Do they want to participate in fun math activities that will engage and excite them? If so, this camp is for them. Fractions and algebra are core skills that are considered gatekeepers for all higher level math. In this camp, students will engage in various fun and meaningful activities that were designed to further develop their conceptual understanding of fractions and develop their ability to problem solve and think algebraically. In doing so, participants will develop their mathematical confidence and competence which will help them inside the classroom and in real world applications. This camp is designed and facilitated by a Mathematics Education Learning Specialist. There are a limited number of spaces in this camp.

Robotics Camps: Making a Humanoid!
This Robotics camp gives campers the opportunity to create something they never thought was possible; they will build and program a Humanoid Robot! In one week participants will learn to build their robot and will be able to program advanced features such as speech recognition and facial tracking. They’ll learn how to control their robot kinesthetically and will even program their robot to recognize them and address them by name! At the end of the week, campers will have a performance for their parents showcasing their robots. This robotics camp sparks excitement while it engages campers in a hands-on engineering project using innovative technologies. Campers will learn math, science and engineering while having fun and bringing science fiction to life before their very own eyes! No prior experience required. This camp is sponsored by EZ-Robot.

Robotics Camp for kids: Building "Six"
Science fiction comes to life in this exciting new day camp! Participants in this highly interactive camp will build and program a Hexapod (spider) robot named “Six”. Campers will design obstacle courses for their Hexapod to conquer while competing against other teams in the ultimate of robot competitions! By the end of the week, campers will be able to program advanced features such as speech recognition and vision tracking. Participants will showcase their robots and their work to their parents at the end of the week. This robotics camp sparks excitement while it engages campers in a hands-on engineering project using innovative technologies. Entrepreneurial Innovation Camp for Youth (2 Week Camp)
This unique and engaging two week Entrepreneurial Camp is a highly interactive camp that is designed to give youth 14 years and older an introduction to entrepreneurship; particularly as it applies to the science, technology and innovation sectors. Participants will get a fun and exciting introduction into the world of entrepreneurship as they learn about business planning, lean start-up methodology, consumer analysis, and product and social media marketing in a way that is fun and encourages experimentation and collaboration. Campers will gain an understanding of what it means to be an entrepreneur and will see entrepreneurship as a viable career option. These young entrepreneurs will also learn teamwork, management, business planning, financing, and about purchasing, supplies and logistics. At the conclusion of the camp, participants will have the chance to participate in a mock ""Dragon's Den"" pitch scenario where they will learn skills in public speaking while presenting their business ideas. Prizes for the top business plans will be given and strategic connections will be made. This camp is designed and facilitated by an Entrepreneur who specializes in Start-Ups, Business Strategy, and Sales and Marketing.

Maker Camp: Combining Creativity, Technology and Engineering!
Let’s get busy and make something! This popular camp has participants exploring their creative side as they implement innovative technology into their own original creations. Campers will use the basis of Design Thinking strategies from Stanford’s d.school to plan, create and prototype their own unique inventions. At the end of the Camp, campers will showcase their creations to parents in our STEMfest. In this camp, campers will work with everything from cardboard to Lego, to LittleBits.

STEAM Camp: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math and more!
STEAM is an acronym for the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. STEAM Camp integrates these disciplines in ways that engage and inspire little engineers. By blending arts and crafts with new technologies, this day camp brings science, math and engineering to life through play and exploration. Campers will invent, design, create and prototype their ideas as they team up with new friends and explore their creative side. At the end of the week, campers will showcase their creations for their parents at our STEMfest. This camp was designed by Science, Engineering, Art and Mathematics Education specialists and is facilitated by Scientists and/or Engineers.

Hands-on Science Camp!
All kids are born scientists. This day camp is designed to spark children’s innate interest in the sciences by providing fun, hands-on learning experiences that foster creativity and meaningful learning. Campers will learn through play as they explore ideas from biology, chemistry, and physics in the world around them. Through hands-on experimentation, campers will develop their scientific thinking and reasoning skills while making friends and having fun. Math, Music & Movement

In this unique day camp participants will engage in mathematics in fun and meaningful ways using music, movement, and games to facilitate their learning. Young Entrepreneurs
This one week camp is for participants aged 10-14. Campers will learn how to become an entrepreneur through a variety of fun-filled, interactive games and activities. At the end of camp, these young entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to run their own “Business for a Day” and will have the opportunity to share their business with parents in a Business Showcase Event. In this one-of-a-kind camp, participants will learn about teamwork, entrepreneurship, business planning, financing, purchasing, supplies and logistics. Campers will also gain an understanding of the principles of management, leadership and marketing. This camp is designed and facilitated by an Entrepreneur who specializes in Start-Ups, Business Strategy, and Sales and Marketing.

Helped her out with the robot camp on the weekend, taking pictures and setting up etc. Pretty cool stuff guys.
Kids are amazed to see a bunch of parts become a thing (robot), then the thing comes to life.
