Hope he's ok. Firesale if not, there is no point.
Stick wasn't between his legs, it was trapped between Gio's arm and this body.

Not dirty, just unfortunate.

From Twitter: @PR_NHL: .@NHLFlames' Mark Giordano established a career-high with his 48th point of the season in #CGYvsNJD. He leads NHL d-men with 11-37—48.

Really hope Gio is okay. If he's gone for any length of time that alone could make us sellers.

Don't mean to be overly negative, but he is THAT important to this team.

I love Karri Ramo. Awesome 2 games from him. He just reminds so much of kipper especially in his pos game interview.

Really wish there was a way to keep Ramo and move on from Hiller…

Ramo is only 28, Hiller 33.

Hartley will probably say something about Gio in the post-game interview.

That looked like a can opener by Bernier on Gio.

@DarrenWHaynes: With Brodie getting his 10th, the #Flames have 10 players in double-digits in goals for the first time since they had 11 do that in 2008-09.

Great time for Ramo to get hot and take the 1A job.

@DarrenWHaynes: Sean Monahan clutch again for the #Flames. In his career:
- 8 third period go-ahead/tying goals
- 4 OT goals
- 5 shootout-deciding goals

I just can't be excited until I know about Gio. Not to sound like a pessimist, but that will likely be our season if he's out an extended period of time.

No word from FAN 960, says his left arm/shoulder, looked shaken (on reply), tangled up and wrenched him.

Nervous, like last minute with a goal up/down...

I agree with Yen Men and thought it looked like a can opener to me.

Glenny has 9, and Byron/Backlund/Colborne all have 6.

Maybe Glenny hits 10 before his trade, and Backlund/Colborne should both hit 10 by season's end.

Gotta respect that.

I know a lot of fans will be happy to see him go and for legit reasons but he has been a Flame for 7 years. Always a little tough to see such a long tenured player go.

He's a true Alberta boy. Best of luck to him and hopefully he wins a cup.

I say two more make the double digit mark:

Glencross (9... please score that next one before the trade!)
Backlund (6, but 16 goal pace suggests he'll make the cut before season end even with all the missed time)
