Van Brabant not called up.
Bryce Van Brabant missing from Adirondack practice

I don't see Van Brabant on this ice. Everyone else is (except Culkin, of course). Setoguchi back in team colors, Arnold still in yellow.
with Mason Raymond on personal leave for the birth of his child, the Flames would have a roster spot open.

Would that be deserved? Nothing against BVB, I quite liked him last season ... but I had the impression that other guys would be in line for a callup ahead of him.

I think it'd be good to see a game from him while we are still in the East. Perfect time to be calling our Adirondack players up.

He made his NHL debut last year against the Devils, I believe, so there would be some symmetry to his making a season debut in Jersey as well. Can't really see a space for him in the lineup though. Unless he who shall not be named gets traded in the next eight hours.

yeah good chance they take the opportunity to take a closer look at a few guys from Adirondack while they're over there, if only at practice with the big club.

With first Ferland being called up, and now potentially Van Brabant, I have a feeling that Bollig is potentially being shopped as well.
Could a team like Montreal still be looking for more size in the bottom 6.

Flames do not have a roster spot right now. They even have to sit Bollig to put in Poirer and Ferland vs the Rangers. They will have an open spot when Glencross gets traded while Raymond and Stajan stays on leave.

I wouldn't have expected Van Brabant up prior to Arnold.
