Looking at the lineup listed above it makes me even more proud because when I see our line-up I see a good 2nd line (JH-SM-JH) and 3-3rd lines, with potential to be top line players. We may not have a lot of talent, but we definitely have the work ethic and drive that makes teams successful!
I know it's been mentioned many times already but I love the call-ups and can't wait for them to start contributing towards the Flames future!
Cheers,
Sammy

You know what the best thing is about the 2nd line? It will be one of the top lines in the league in 2-3 years. Whether Hudler resigns or goes somewhere else, or Monahan gets replaced by Bennett. That is just icing on the cake for this year's surprising year. We see that the light at the end of the tunnel is getting to be very very bright.

Hope everything goes perfectly for Matt and his wife.
Ferland please outwork #25.
Eat sleep breath Bouma's work ethic.
Man i sure hope Poirrer can shine and put some points up and get pk time as well. The Flames desperatly need another LW/RW that can contribute. From what I have heard all along about Poirrer is he plays with an agitator side to him aswell.

So is it for sure that both Ferland and Poirier will be in the line-up tonight?

Boomer on Fan960 this morning mentioned he expected neither of them would be in the line up tonight.

Oh, ok. Darn, I was hoping to see Poirier play at least.

Thats a shame what a waste. #25 is not doing his job and the Flames could use Ferland and Poirrer vs NY.

It is probably a good idea to get them in for a practice with the team, do some skating with potential line mates, tell them their responsibilities for when they do get in. Then have them watch a game from the pressbox sitting with Connie or another coach who can show them as the game goes on what they should be looking for and doing.
Then give them some action, I could see this happening for a couple of games.

Agreed. Small point though they should already know their responsibilities and what's expected of them because they play the same system in Addy.

Poirier should be in. We need more dynamic offense. Johnny's line is too easy to shutdown when it's our only real source of creativity.

Can we please get a Glencross trade already? Also Bollig should sit.

With both Poirer and Ferland sitting in the wings, everyone that is on the ice tonite know full well that any passengers will be the ones sitting next game.

Stajan still in Calgary. No news of a baby yet but he was seen working out at WinSport this morning.

As long as all is well with the Stajan's, that is all that really matters with him right now
