Another casualty from the historic Canucks game that changed the Flames forever and altered the Canucks short term plans. Still remember him beaking off on the bench at Hartley..Was a very tough guy "from the bench"..

It does seem like the end of the line for him. Wish him well. Though he was a dirty Canuck, I never thought of him as dirty - can't think of any instance where I thought he made a dirty play at all. Took a lot of courage to fight McGrattan all those times, especially knowing he would have no chance of winning. Have to respect him for that.

Its also likely that NHL teams have finally realized its not worth it to use up valuable roster spots in the organization for face punchers with no upside.

No, it's face puncher.

As in, he punches people with his face. Generally he gets them right in the fists.

Weird you would think the Canucks would send him down.
I agree this likely is the last we here of Sestito.
If a guy is going to last as an enforcer on 90% of the teams in todays NHL. The coach and GM will expect them to be able to be reliable for regular 4th line shifts.
