But I'm not saying anything, other than the fact I don't think it means wolves. And things I've heard are from other people talking (not about comics), but just about other things. The thought process is from discussion and nothing else.
As to the last episode, really enjoyed it. Maybe Aaron and Eric are nice guys...just never seems to be that way though. Interested to find out.

I thought things got really confusing when they were driving to the camp at night. How did the motor home get in front of Rick's group? Or was the water tower behind them? Seemed like a scene was missing. Maybe I need to go back and watch again.
It seemed Aaron was scared of something else other than the walkers when he saw the flare go off...scared enough to run out into the dark woods full of walkers with his hands tied taking his chances with them instead of whatever he is afraid of. I'm guessing he is scared of the group that destroyed Noah's community and is recruiting Rick's group to build an army to defend against them.

I read Aaron's reaction simply as he and Eric had an agreement that they would use their respective flares in the event of an emergency. He saw the flare and decided that he needed to go help Eric immediately but was also worried about what may be wrong. I'm sure there is another threat out there, but I think in this instance, Aaron was solely focused on getting to his boyfriend and maybe not thinking logically.

Maybe it will be addressed in the next episode, but still kind of creepy that none of the photos that Aaron showed any people.
There were no guards or people waiting for them at the entrance.
The preview for next week doesn't show any of the new community people either.

I think it is missdirection.
There was clearly the sound of kids playing when they pulled up and R & M were talking in the vehicle.
Why no guards? Who knows, clearly they have (for this world) advanced tech. Perhaps they already saw/knew they were coming.
I reckon the place is as advertised, but our merry band are too messed up to slide into the easy life.

Aaron did seem incredibly desperate to have Rick's group join them. After being punched hard enough to be knocked out cold, when he wakes up he compliments Rick on his right cross. Makes me wonder if the issue is that all of Aaron's people are gone, so they need protection. Maybe the same flu that affected the prison wiped everybody out?

So far all we know (or at least are led to believe) about the group is they have children and two guys who may be brave but not exactly the toughest people in the world.
I think it's opposite to the recent groups we've seen, they aren't a threat to Rick group - rather Rick's group is the threat to them.
Like Aaron said, he was willing to risk himself but not his group. I think it's because it consists mostly of children and other 'weak' people and he didn't want to give up that his town was undefended and weak. He wants Rick and his group for protection because they are the fighters that the town lacks.
Although the barriers put up would have had to been put up by capable strong adults which ruins the thought a bit - maybe the fighters and muscle died somehow.

From the sounds of it, they have a large operation. One big enough to have some level of farming. With a distinctively low life span and most people in the world being murderous a-holes, it's probably pretty rare to find a group of good people and the need for labor is constant.
It is also possible they need the army too. After all someone did take out Noah's farm.

Parabolic mic. He had been following them for a couple of weeks. They found it when they were driving in the car.

Ok, not to call you out and be a dick or anything, but your first reply was pretty definitively denying speculation as if you had outside information. If it was just additional or alternative speculation with no reference to the comics then I think most of us would just assume you would flesh it out for us.
Maybe you didn't mean it to come across that way (as you seem to be implying in your second response), but it certainly comes off like that. At least I know I interpreted it that way as I am one of a handful that are super sensitive to spoilers.
Anyway, better episode, and I'm forgiving of the last one as it provided a bit more context for the character motivations/behaviours (Michonne especially) at what I assume is a pretty critical juncture in the plotline. I'm digging the theories that perhaps either Rick's group ends up being the threat (to Alexandria and themselves) or that Aaron is recruiting because his group is actually at a disadvantage. There has to be some kind of twist that keeps everything moving.

I didn't see any kids, are we sure it wasn't in Rick's head? I'd like to see this group be good, and these wolves or whoever are the baddies, who end up trashing Alexandria and sending Rick and his new group of survivors into next season.
What was with the memorial they saw on the drive, they aren't near Washington yet are they?

I'm pretty sure at one point in the episode last week someone said they were 60 miles away or something like that, so by now they could be close enough to see it.

after falling asleep for the first few episodes since the show started up again, this one was actually entertaining.
Can't wait to see what's behind the gate.

It was Washington, you could also see the White House. Rosita called to Abraham, they had a moment.

I was pretty excited to see Washington too! finally something other than bush country and semi abandoned old random structures that don't represent the actual country they would be traveling on. Alexandria is a real place just off the Potomac River just outside of Washington so the view of Washington was totally legit from their location!
I want to see more urban/suburban situations, and hordes of thousands of walkers coming out of the cites!
