Default Apple is finally fixing 2011-2013 MacBooks with video issues

Hardly a 'small percentage' like this link states.

If you paid for a repair ($400-600), call Apple for a refund.

I've never had an issue with mine, but it's good to hear they're finally acknowledging there's a problem. Apple's customer service is stellar, except when it isn't.

Holy crap. My screen crapped out on me last year. I could hear it booting up, and when I increase/decresed the volume I could hear it making noises. I took it into Apple, and they had to change the motherboard because they had no idea what the issue was.

I just checked and my Macbook pro is from Mid 2012. I should call them and see if I can get a refund, which was over $550.

If I get a refund, I owe you big time HotHotHeat!

The constant reboots happened to my macbook air.

I guess I don't qualify.

But they won't do anything for the mid-2010 MacBook Pros who notoriously have glitchy graphics cards? Mine randomly reboots all the time with "GPU panic" errors. One of the only ways around it is to use a third-party program called "gfxCardStatus" and set the computer to always use Integrated graphics and not Discrete graphics.

There was one for some video issues, ended Dec.1, 2014.
