Basically Barnes on Burnley put in a nasty tackle on Ivanovic and got no yellow card then Chelsea should have had two penalty kicks in the first half, one on a very clear hand ball. Then in the second half, Barnes (again) tried to break Matic's leg, with no call. Matic lost his head and got a red card. A few minutes later, Burnley tied it up.

On that note, who can forget Vic, Dick and the Doc for TSN's Italia 90 coverage, with old Graham Leggat roaming aimlessly around Italy and filing very intermittent reports (such as one every 3 or 4 days, which even as a teenager, I thought was odd that he wasn't working more)?
As for Chelsea, got jobbed. Always enjoyable though because of Jose's chat after the game, and today's was no exception, only repeating (5 times) to the reporter, the 4 times in the match with the dubious calls and saying no more about them.

That was a wild game, but I'll take it.

In the strangest piece of news you'll read all week, one of the racist Chelsea fans has been named as Richard Barklie, a director of a human rights organization who has previously lectured on racial tolerance.

Rarely does anything surprise me when it comes to Chelsea fans these days.
Hell, I wouldnt be surprised if Dick Barklie golfs with John Terry on weekends.

I was hoping they'd hold out so Liverpool could catch them. A United win and an impending Liverpool loss means another gap to overcome.

I think Chelsea owe us a fruit basket or something for that one. Now we're right on United's tail.

Good result for Liverpool. They are coming good at the right time and Arsenal or United could be one of the teams paying the price. At a stretch, it also could be City. I wouldn't bet the mortgage on them against anybody right now.

How'd the City fans like that one? Ha! Two amazing shots by Henderson and Coutinho (and two amazing misses by City players) and that was that. Good chance now for Liverpool to be top four again.

Don't know what was going on with Bafetimbi Gomis but glad to see that he was conscious when he was carried off.

Good job Newcastle screwed up to gift United a goal because they sure as hell weren't creating one for themselves.
Great persistence from Rooney.

Going to be tough for Spurs to make top four I think. Basically need a minimum of seven wins and I'm not sure I see that in the cards. They're not facing a murderer's row of opponents by any means, but you'd have to think they'll probably lose at Old Trafford and be lucky to nick a point at home against City, same with travelling to Newcastle and Southampton. It doesn't help that they're also going against five teams who are going to be fighting hard against relegation.

I wouldn't rule out your chances against either of the Manchester clubs.
