In a lot of ways the powerplay is the main culprit of this loss. Just awful tonight where one goal could have made a big difference with a goal. Late powerplay goal at garbage time doesn't change that.

Still lots of hockey to be played this season. Not over yet. That being said, I'm thinking they're gonna need at least 9 points on this upcoming road trip to stay in the race.

Well, last game many posters were stating that it didn't matter what other teams do so long as the Flames get 96 points. So, does tonight's game matter that much given it was likely going to be a loss going against the Ducks?
