Grabovski absolutely Destroyed by Nystrom
I don't usually start threads for massive hits, but this one is a bit different. Five years ago this is clean no question. Now it's borderline suspendable. Here's the link to the video and you decide.

Doesn't look bad from what I saw, Grabo must be made of glass.

nothing wrong with that hit, really. It was a hard hit for sure, but it wasn't a blindsided hit nor an elbow or targeted at the head.

Yikes watched that one and the Scott one linked they were solid his but not ones that should be knocking a guy with a healthy head out.
Grabovski needs to think about his future health and consider whether he should keep playing.

Never want to see a player hurt but from every angle showed there that is not only clean but is a great hit. Hope Grabovski is ok.

Looked like a clean hit to me. Really didn't even look like that hard of a hit if he didn't end up getting knocked out.

Clean hit. Just the size of Nystrom and the force of the hit makes it look that more impactful.

Clean hit, just well timed. I give credit to grabovski for getting up and skating off. He may not be the toughest player but anyone could have been caught in that play.

Islanders broadcast has always been really good and fair. Hayward would have lost his ####.

Yikes, never nice to see a player down like that.
The hit itself doesn't seem that special. Hard, but not that unusual.

Didn't leave his feet, hands where down, the hit wasn't late. I think it was just unlucky that Grabovski got knocked out. Clean hit for me. Nystrom plays with an edge but he isn't a dirty player. I would be surprised if Nystrom got suspended.

Hard clean hit. Any other time and the player would have groggily shaken it off.

It's funny because when he played for the Leafs he would always get rocked and then pop right back up. Seems like his luck has finally run out these last couple of seasons. It's a shame because I always liked the way he played.

Truculent!
Excellent hit. Grabovski has a habit of getting hit like that often.
