Can't see him waiving to go to another bubble playoff team. If he's moved, he'll move up I think.

Me totally speculating, but if Glencross is truly unhappy with his ice time, maybe they move him asap. Could even be before next game.

Well, yeah, before the deadline. I meant more as in before the roadie? Does he sit out any games? I have to believe it's going to happen sooner rather then later.
Next question, does Monahan take #20?

I think nothing will happen until the Trade Deadline. Glencross is still a serviceable middle 6 NHLer that can still be a contributor for a few more games.
EDIT: I think Monahan will stay #23.

I think you want to move glencross as quickly as possible to prevent the potential injury occurrance and to remove a lot of the media attention heading into the deadline.

Agreed, not to mention the salty/sour attitude stagnating in the locker room.

Injuries will do that.
Injuries are going to be what ends Bouma too. In the meantime, enjoy the ride!

A 2nd would be highway robbery.
I'm expecting an older prospect. Someone with a shot to make the team next season, not with a high ceiling.
Trading Glencross right now would be selling low. We have limited destinations. He hasn't scored in a long time... I really don't think anyone is going to be giving up a lot for him.

GM's should be talking to their Head Coaches asking them how confident would they feel motivating a guy like Glencross to play hard every game instead of when he feels like it. Very much like in Chris Stewart's case - good physical capacity, good skill, good hockey IQ – but consistent lack of consistency diminishes it all. Following Bowman's methodology - good coach will always find a way to motivate his players to play their best. Glencross needs "his" coach, I think.

I was actually quite surprised to hear how many shots Glencross still blocks on a game to game basis.
If he gets rejuvenated on a new team, he could definitely help a lot down the stretch. I think he needs a change of scenery.

Ha Ha, Glencross originally just had one team on his list!? Who does he think he is? I'm thinking Glencross is going to a have a rude awakening in the off-season when teams don't offer up big contracts for him.

No question.
Knee injuries and high ankle sprains have been the common Glencross injuries.

Yeah, I've said the same thing before. Though I can't see Bouma losing his passion like Glencross seemingly did. Bouma seems like the Warrener type who will play his body into the ground.

If they do take a draft pick as a return for glenny i would hope that it's all part of a greater effort to move into the top 10 of the first round next year.
should we get another first or second rounder the value of drafting 3 players in the top 60 is lessened by the fact that the flames have a fairly crowded house when it comes to prospects.
I would really like them to package picks in order to draft ONE big time defensive stud at next years draft.

I think GMs are far less blinded about Glencross than many fans here are. He hasn't been the same post-injury, but he was near a career high points pace before, blocks a lot of shots and is one of our above average players in terms of possession.
I don't know that he would garner a great deal, but he does have assets that teams want.

Could see him and one of our surplus of forward prospects To Pittsburgh for Dumolin or Harrington potentially.

Writings on the wall now anyway, its only a matter of time he's moved. I think its best for both parties, Curtis can chase with the cup with a new team and new outlook on hockey and the flames can give that spot to someone who's 'earned' it and hopefully recoup a decent prospect/pick in the process.
