#Flames Curtis Glencross says he's disappointed in how he has been utilized this season. Trade deadline concerns are just part of the game

Yes. And saying Glencross will not help the Flames, but would help a top contender.
A nonsense argument

He's being utilized according to performance. He has to deal with it like any other player.

Exactly. Its quite a statement by him, all things considered. He's been used on every line this year (maybe not the 4th?) but had plenty of opportunity up top with Monahan & Jones.

Glencross holds a no trade clause. Hearing up to 15 teams have inquired about him. His list is significantly less #Flames

Ditto.
It will likely also help Glencross increase his market value if he heads to the East coast for a playoff run with a team like PIT or MTL.

Great news, best of luck if you do go Curtis. This is the smart thing for the Flames, move forward with our youth.

This doesn't necessarily mean he is gone just yet, we saw them hold on to Cammalleri for nothing vs. taking a lowball offer last year. This does however most likely mean he will not be back next year, which is for the best.

I would say most fans want him traded...whether or not they like the return is another story. Seems like a no brainer to get a list but considering the last guy who was in charge didn't bother its a good thing

I would be shocked if you could even get a third round pick for him...certainly not a decent prospect...

Well, it's as good as done then. I didn't think he would waive, but if he actually provided a list, then it is only a matter of time (assuming any of the players on the list want him).
Hopefully they get him to officially sign a waiver for those teams so he can't pull an Iginla at the last minute.

So almost every team in the playoff hunt is interested
Good luck wherever he goes, he's been a great player for a long time here

He has no incentive to sign such a thing.

It will be interesting to see just what his value is. With 15 teams interested you know that in free agency he is likely going to field offers the Flames would never match so it appears that the relationship is coming to an end. A late 1st round pick or solid defenseman prospect would be sweet as that is best case but I expect a 2nd round pick is closer to reality.
As for Glencross seeing him moved would be bitter sweet as he's been a good soldier for this organization but the reality of the NHL is that organizations have to balance the books to ensure they will have cap room to retain their core of young players and with Stajan locked up there is only so much money to go around for players nearing their mid-30's. If the Flames are going to retain a veteran player I would rather it be Hudler than Glencross.
