Effort has been there pretty much the whole year, need to stay away from stupid turnovers (I'm looking at you TJ and Johnny!!).

Kinda get the feeling that this is also a 'must win' game for the Wild in order to stay in the hunt. The last time we played a team that was a 'must win' for them out of the west, we lost 5-3.

Now I'm not saying that the Wild are the same type of Kings by any stretch, but I just hope that the Flames match the Wild's intensity and just play some good hockey tonight. They could sure do themselves a future favor by winning this game in regulation and pad that points cushion.

Dubnyk's great play is unsustainable. Right?

Damn, now I know how it feels to be a Flames hater.

The Flames need to shell shock this guy and bring those terrible Oiler memories back. That stink never washes off completely.

Finally a game I can watch here in Toronto. Sucks being in TO for the next month while the Flames battle for a playoff spot. Gotta find a bar that has NHL Centre Ice.

I hope Brodie tries to make a name for himself again.

I have to stream everything that airs on Sports Net West due to blackouts outside of Alberta/Sask. Might be a viable option for you.

If anyone should sit it's Johnny. He's forcing plays, not looking around like he used, not skating like he was and not stick handling. Maybe he got hit or something and needs rest. Either way, he needs a few days to get his game back.

Byron is injured

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
An injury to Byron will keep him out tonight. Hartley won't specify what that injury is, however. #Flames

It's not clear what's up with Johnny. Out of gas or feeling pressure?

I would prefer Wolf to Bollig, but at least Bollig is experienced.

Was wondering why he was a game time decision. He was on the ice for Brodie's game winner and looked fine. Hope it's not serious.

Probably Bollig but it would be nice to see Wolf again.

...he's being guarded 5 on 5 by playoff teams' best shut down defender. As a rookie whose game isn't based around outmuscling opponents. And he's still had 10 points in his last 12 games.

I think I am going to stop saying that this is an important game because they all are important from here on out.

The Flames will win tonight, Hiller will be play great. JG will improve from last game, no more bad turnovers that result in good scoring chances or goals and I think it will be 4-2 tonight. Gio, Monahan, Hudler and Jooris will score a goal tonight.

Go Flames Go!
