Gut Check Time - The Next 10 Games
Huge wins against Vancouver and Boston have the Flames in the thick of the playoff race, but staring them in the eye are home games against the hottest team in the league, Minnesota, and the division leading Ducks, a 7 game Eastern road trip, and a return home to once again face Anaheim.
Make your predictions for their record over this crucial stretch, and where the Flames sit when it's done.

They just need to squeeze out a .500 for this stretch, and then get on a hot streak right after as the schedule will loosen up considerably.

I really don't know. Think they will beat Minny. That 7 game eastern trip bookended with the ducks is killer. I'm just hoping they are in a playoff spot at the end of it.
I'm going 5-5.

5-3-2 is my prediction. There are some tough games in there but the Flames will hang in and not lose any ground I hope.

Why are people predicting OT / SO losses?
When's the last time that's happened to the Flames? October?
Oh yeah, there was the one in December vs Vancouver, because they were coming off a 7 game losing streak.

Call me a pessimist, but I see a 4-6 record.
The Flames end up the stretch on the wrong side of the playoff line, but close enough that re-creating their play of late will give them a good shot at the post season.

It could be worse actually... Flames have more points than 5 of the 10 teams

After those 10 games, the schedule gets decidedly easier - they just need to get through this stretch in decent shape.
And no teams scare me anymore. Literally none.

I bet 7-3. All of the games are winnable. Minnesota will be the toughest.
