TOR-NSH trade easy to break down. TOR gets NSH 1st rd for Franson, which is very good price for rental. Santorelli for prospect Leipsic.

Interesting trade. The title is apparently missing the "re" from the story.

I can't think of another time that a team reacquired two of their drafted players in the same trade, much less for a playoff push.

Really sucks for Jokinen. Hopefully he can get shipped back to a playoff team that wants some depth at C.

Looks like a decent trade for both teams. Huge win for the Preds if they can re-sign Franson, or both.

The 1st round pick sounds sexy, but right now it's going to be one of the last two picks, so it's not like it's a top 20 pick or anything.

It could be a bit higher than that. For example, if the Kings slip into the final wildcard spot and bounce the Preds in the first round it would be the 24th overall.

Jokinen's 9th NHL team now, could be ten if he's traded again this season. Doesn't include the second stop in Calgary either.
