After beating Anaheim 6-2 on Tuesday, the Panthers proceed to lose back-to-back to Minnesota and Dallas. Thanks for nothing, Florida.

Lehtonen gets the shutout as the Stars win 2-0.

The Devils could not make their 1-0 first period lead stand up as the Blackhawks score three goals in the third period and win 3-1.

The Sharks now have a 3-2 lead midway through the third period.

Jets fans are saying the same thing and the Blackhawks won too.

Every team the Flames needed to lose won. Flames need a win tomorrow, in a big way. The OOT scoreboard has been not one ounce of help the last week.

There's only really ever one "must win" every year, but if they don't pull one out tomorrow there'll be trouble in the future

For a guy who's on his 3rd NHL team this season, Mark Arcobello has 9 goals (one more than Martin Erat who was traded for probable Calder trophy winner Filip Forsberg)

In the last 10 games only one team who is in the Pacific division, or who is currently not in the playoffs has more wins than Calgary (Minnesota with a record of 7-1-2 vs. Calgary 6-4-0). Yet we have slipped from 2nd in the division to 2nd in the wild card race.

That tells you just how effective the loser point is.

The post game shows in Vancouver will be praising the Matthias for Luongo trade since Matthias scored a hat trick.

As usual, no help whatsoever on the OOT. Flames better earn some points on this home stand.

At least the Flames are in control of their own destiny. That makes crummy OOT nights like this easier to swallow. If we were in 11th or 10th chasing than it would suck more. Just have to make sure they come out strong and beat the Nucks tomorrow. Screw the OOT and just win more games than they lose the next month and a half.
