Broken Ipod Nano. Options?

I bought an Ipod Nano about 3 months or so ago from Wal Mart and the input jack for the lightning cable appears to be broken. When I plug it in, nothing happens. It doesn't recognize that it's been connected unless I push it in really really hard and hold it there, but the moment I let go it disconnects. Tried many different cables that work fine with other devices so it's definitely the ipod.

I'm going to Wal-Mart later today to try and get an exchange but should that not work, what would my options be? I only ask cause it would be great to have this ipod working this weekend but Im assuming that won't happen.

Anyways, any advice would be appreciated!

Apple Store if you're in a city with one. It's under a 1 year warranty.

On iPod Nano's I imagine its a swap, but have no idea.

Any luck with Wal-Mart? They have a fairly good return policy, so I'd definitely try them first.
