Darn - Wingels always plays well against the Flames. I was happy he wasn't playing last game.

A third line with Wingles, Hertl and Tierney could do some damage... but enough? Dunno...

Must say I've been surprise how well the flames have done against the sharks this year. I always remember the flames beating the sharks over the years on the backs of iggy in beast mode and kipper being lights-out amazing. Was worried after they left who would step up cause I could never remember anyone else over the years excelling against the sharks the way those two did. They always seemed to raise their game against that team. Seems like it's a total team effort to beat the sharks with the new and improved flames.

It also helps that the Sharks are now in the slow decline phase of their team. Pavelski, Couture, and maybe Hertl aside, they don't have much of a young core and their vets are beginning to go downhill. Also, their organizational depth is atrocious.

Wes Gilbertson @SUNGilbertson
Hmmm ... #Flames have activated LW David Wolf (leg laceration) from injured reserve. Optional morning skate, so lineup in SJ is a mystery.

Wes Gilbertson @SUNGilbertson
Asked about Wolf this morning, #Flames head coach Bob Hartley answered, "He's healed … We could use him if we would need him." Do they?

I have a feeling we don't use Wolf for this game, but we will for the next. However, isn't Bollig sick still?

The day may come when I tire of this reference anytime Wolf's name is mentioned, when I no longer find it amusing, and when I stop thanking it when it is used on CP.

But it is not this day.

I wonder whose dads are on this trip. Wolf's dad sounded very involved with his NHL experience so far, but would he have joined the trip last minute when David was called up, on the other end of the country, and a good chance he doesn't play during this trip?

Why would Burke have sex with a shark?

It's not sex, it's cuddling.

Hopefully the false Goodrow gets plastered into the boards. I can't stand that guy.

Just curious where you heard this? I thought I remember reading that Wolf was raised by a single parent, his mom

nope

http://calgaryherald.com/sports/hock...sons-nhl-debut

article doesn't mention his mom though, so perhaps you're right about the single parent, but dad instead of mom
