Buffalo beating Dallas is a huge gift - and a big blow to their chances

What an awful hockey game.
That is why the NHL television contract is so much better. The CBC would have had this game shown nation wide which is eye and ear pollution. Thank goodness Rogers has the contract now and viewers could see better quality games.

Of course the Canucks get to face Greiss.

Hope last night was just the warm-up for Sid.

The Flames got Stalock last week vs. the Sharks while the Canucks got Niemi.

Pretty sure it wouldn't have mattered last night, and I doubt it will tonight either.

Post Game call-in on CHED is hilarious.

Credit to the canucks for their neutral zone presence.

Kassian starts a fight to try and wake the Pens up. He is a dolt.

This the 3rd straight opponent for the nucks where the opposition played the night before in Calgary. I read somewhere that this happens a lot. Much more than the reverse of the team playing in Vanoucver first then travelling and playing in Alberta.

I must say this new Saturday night HNIC panel is starting to grow on me.

Elliot Friedman is becoming on of the best in the business and the chemistry that Kypreos, Hrudey, and Friedman is pretty funny.

Strombo is still a bit of a clown, but overall its actually looking good.

I miss Andi Petrillo though.

I also miss Andi. It looks pretty bad on Rogers that they took care of all the good ole boys, but couldn't find a spot for her.

Vancouver knocking the net off should come in to consideration

Lame call and rule. If the puck is obviously just about to go in before a defender knocks off the net it should count.
