No one even wants to talk about this. Just a shellacking.

A knock back down to earth.
Oh well, regroup and beat San Jose (again) on Monday.

Sooooo... two days to regroup before another crucial four-pointer against SJ.
Have to think Ramo will get the start?

Atleast it wasn't an intra-division loss

Horrendous game from the Flames. Obviously going to need to be much better and come out flying next game and beyond. That was tough to watch.

Lost to an Eastern team... Hate to say it but we were bound to lose one after winning 4 straight and if I had a choice of which game I would 'prefer' to lose it would be this one.

With all the people posting "shutout" in the GT, I just don't get how Fleury wasnt jinxed, cursed and hexed.

Meh. If you're gonna lose, rather it be this game than the ones before this.
Also, Pittsburgh was really good.

I doubt it. Hiller has been stellar and deserves the next start even after this loss. If he plays bad next game then go to Ramo.

Flames seem to have a lot of trouble with Eastern teams. Beats me why....

We sat back and gave the Pens to much respect.
Diaz on the PP is a joke. In fact the the whole damned PP was a joke tonight. No puck cycling in an effort to get shots from down low. Get the puck on the side, hold on to it for a few seconds or more then pass it back to the point. Too easy for the Pens to defend.
I would say our worst effort of the season.

Well that one was ugly but at least the 2 points we gave away were given to a eastern team. 8 out of a possible 12 points for the homestead isn't to bad at all. Hope we can continue our success with the Sharks on Monday

No point getting hung up on this one. Flat effort all round, but this wasn't a game without positives. There were at least 3 moments where we could and should have scored were it not for no puck luck and Fluery getting very lucky. Wouldn't have impacted the result, but on other night, we'd have scored at least 2. PP was better, moved it around, kept them pinned, just need to look for other options than the one tricky pony which is "get it to the point and shoot". Too obvious and it's been sussed.
PK was superb. Aggressive, not letting a good PP team get set up or get many shots on net, plus a few potential breakaway opportunities which we couldn't quite make something of.
Got to give the Pens credit though, they had all 4 lines rolling tonight and we were beaten by 2 decent winners and the best player in the game. Its not embarrassing to lose to Crosby when he's on this sort of form.
Went 4-2-0 on this home stand, not too bad at all. Got a massive next 3 games coming up next week. Biggest week of the season so far, bar none. Shake this one off quickly and get ready for San Jose on Monday.
