That's almost exactly what's written next to the picture!.

I think Johnny should just keep doing what he's doing. Shiftiness is his biggest attribute I think, and his body size is perfect for it. Anyone remember "ice hockey" for the original Nintendo? He's pretty much one of those small guys that you wanted to have at least one of.

Anybody know what Johnny was studying while at BC?

I was looking around and came across something pretty funny...

I think it would hinder Gaudreau's game. He does not play and has never played anything like St. Louis.

I would just like to say, I feel like Gaudreau has taken a bit of a backseat to Monahan in regards to praise for top line duty.

Gaudreau and Monahan (and Hudler) have been together for at least the last few weeks and Gaudreau as a 21 year old winger, is showing that he can also match against top groups, play sound defensively, and keep his point production going. Obviously the center is a more important part of shutting down the other top group (faceoffs, d-zone position), but I feel like the praise for that side of Gaudreau's game is getting lost in (well deserved) that of Monahan.

This guy is found money as one of the top players from that draft in the 4th round. Good job Jay! You had some issues as a management team, but there's no doubt you left us with some great building blocks.

Before the Flames signed Gaudreau, Tod Button was asked what the ideal weight was for Gaudreau. His answer was he just needs to big enough, Johnny relies on his brain and shiftiness.

The Flames aren't too concerned with Gaudreau adding muscle. It will never be a big part of his game.

Cammalleri also commented on it during garbage bag day last season. He didn't think Gaudreau needed to add muscle.

If I remember, Cammy's advice was spot on. And it was basically a slap in Millions' face.

Millions: "What advice do you have for another small man in Gaudreau. He OBVIOUSLY has to change his body shape in order to.."

Cammy: "I don't know that he does, Rog. My advice would be to get in the best possible shape in his own frame."

John who? Weisbrod wasn't working for the Flames when we drafted Gaudreau.

Strange that you try to praise everyone except the guys that actually drafted Gaudreau, Tod Button and his scouts. They deserve the vast majority of the credit for the Gaudreau pick. Chances are Feaster had never seen a single game of Gaudreau's.

Would you like it if your boss was praised for your work? Scouts scout and draft, GM's manage. Most GM's have little to no say outside of the first round. They trust their head scout to run the draft.

Good job Mr. Button and the scouting crew.

Calm down. I've done plenty of praising for Todd and his crew for the job they did while Feaster was running things, and continue to do. But Feaster was running things and allowing his staff to do their jobs, which itself is a great quality in a manager. To say Feaster never saw a single game of Gaudreau's is likely false though.

I forgot that Weisbrod wasn't with the team during that draft.
