I heard Edmonton is considered one of the test market cities for American businesses, not sure whom the other markets are?

There is one in Spruce Grove as well. Seemed the same as the US to me.

London, Ontario is as well. If it were to come here, it'd be Hardee's but since they aren't even in Michigan yet, and barely in Ohio, it'll be a while

I've been on a burger kick lately - Smash Burger, Clive, 5 Guys, The Cat n' Fiddle & Boogies all have great offerings. If I'm looking for drive thru, DQ and A&W are my go-to's. Always have some love for a Big Mac.

I avoid Peters, Wendy's and Burget King at all costs.

Can't screw with Five Guys - half a bag full of fries, great beef, nothing overly complicated, the staff is always friendly no matter what location I'm in, and the music is never crap.

Damn. In addition to the burgers Carls Jr also has some very nice chicken sandwiches. I hope Edmontonians are frequenting them in hopes we can get a couple down here.

Maybe because it's a blue collar city that has more money than your average blue collar city? When I think of fast food customers I tend to think of more blue collar than suit and tie so I can understand why Edmonton would be more attractive than Calgary.

I went to the Ikea Five Guys yesterday and I swear they changed something, as their burgers were just not as good as they used to be. The fries were still great, but the burger felt a lot more like something you would get at a bigger fast food chain.

Personally, I think Clive on 17th is still the best burger in town. Burger 320 in Bridgeland is pretty good too.

Grande Prairie, Spruce Grove and Edmonton have it. Three in the Okanagan.

I'm a sucker for A&W mozza and teen burgers.

It's definitely greasy spoon quality food, but dammit I love it.

A little while ago, In and Out Burger set up a temporary eatery for a day here and it was pretty good. I hope they come to Canada.
