If anyone wants to feel giddy, check out the standings on NHL.com. They just updated with tonight's game. Looks soooooooooo good.

If the season ended today the playoff matchups would be:
C1) Nashville
W2) Vancouver

C2) St. Louis
C3) Chicago

P1) Anaheim
W1) Winnipeg

P2) Calgary
P3) San Jose

On Feb 4, 2004 the Flames were 26-22-5-3 for 60 points. 3rd in the NW, 5th in the Conference

Can't decide what's harder to believe:

1. This team is 2nd in the Pacific with 30 games to go; or
2. This team lost 8 in a row, 7 in regulation.

Where is our camry milf?! Great game, as much as the sharks didn't seem to be in it tonight, I don't think we gave them many quality chances until half way through the third. Johnny seemed to have his quietest night in a long time though.

Would really like that matchup for the Flames actually. Wouldn't even be a stretch to say the Flames should be favoured.

Here's hoping.

Amazing to think if we had won even two of those eight games, we'd be ahead of Chicago and comfortably in the playoffs right now.

It was taking up too much of my time, plus I went traveling for ages and sort of stopped following the NHL. I actually quit CP altogether for awhile, but then started coming back but only to get my Flames news. Since I've been back in Calgary, I enjoy my winter lurking but can;t be bothered to post. I've got other things that need doing. I happened to be watching the game tonight so I kept up with the GT for old times' sake. Felt good

My fingers are fine.

POOF!

I hope we play the sharks in the first round, because we can probably take them out in 4.

Flames indeed in sole possession of 2nd in the Pacific based on 1more ROW than the sharknados. + 19 goal diff than them is really telling tho...
