Sparse crowd in New Jersey tonight. Doesn't look much better than a Panthers game.

Huge game for LA. If LA does not make the playoffs is Sutter's job in question? Or maybe Lombardi's? Very tough times for LA IMO. Teams like Anaheim, Pittsburgh, and Chicago have remained threats, if not cup contenders in the years following their Cup runs.

I would say 6?

Vancouver and Winnipeg are currently the Wild Card holders.

Los Angeles is the biggest threat, but Dallas, Minnesota and Colorado are all separated by 2 points.

If LA misses the playoffs, they fall back on "Voynov ****ed us over"

LOL Buffalo up 3-1 on Habs after 1. I guess Sabres have to win another one sometime.

The Wild lead 1-0, Koivu scored.

Brouwer has the lone goal so far, 1-0 Capitals over the Kings in the second period.

The surprise on the OOT has the Sabres leading the Habs 3-1 after one period.

Thanks for pointing that out, I miscounted and I have changed it.

1-0 Preds on a SHG by Seth Jones against the Leafs.

EDIT: Bad turnover by Kadri on Jones SHG. Jones picks Kadri's pocket clean, then goes in and roofs it on Bernier.

Would be nice if the freaking hawks could beat some of these teams chasing the Flames. Seriously Chicago.

Now 2-0 Preds. PPG for Shea Weber.

Toronto is pukeworthy.

Seriously? 2 cups in 3 years, with a conference final appearance in between. The Kings have played a LOT of hockey over the last 40 months, they're bound to have a bit of a letdown. Chicago made the playoffs by 2 points the year after they won their first cup and were bounced in the first round, should Quenville have been fired?

The Kings would have to miss the playoffs for several consecutive years before Sutter's job ever came into question, and Lombardi likely has the job for as long as he wants it
