A few more rounds and this guy would have taken a shot for the Sharks...

Oilers six points up on Buffalo. That should be enough to not finish last.

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

Arguably he'd have better moves than half of the guys at the end of the shootout.

Strictly speaking, at the pace Buffalo has been setting recently, one point up should be enough to not finish last. Fourteen straight regulation losses, by a combined score of 61–21.

Didn't they say we'd get Flames' post-game comments once the Oilers crapfest ended? They've given us coverage of the Leafs (who didn't even play tonight), then the NBA, and now the Super Bowl.

Frick, Rogers. You suck.

Hasn't Edmonton achieved multiple losing streaks in the double digits this year?

Uh, no, they haven't.

But more to the point, Edmonton is ahead of Buffalo right now, and can't get negative points to put them back behind. The only way the Oilers finish behind Buffalo is if Buffalo gets some more points, and the Sabres seem to have perfected the art of losing every game.

Pretty close. 11 game losing streak, 1 win, then a 9 game losing streak.

Ah, yes. How could I forget? Still not quite double digits for the second streak.

More to the McPoint, they managed to scrape together 6 loser points out of those 20 losses. Makes them look like Stanley Cup champs compared to Buffalo with their 14 straight in regulation. And how far ahead of the Sabres are they today? Six points.

I bet Lowe and MacTavish wish their players had lost those games in regulation instead of farting around and taking extra time. If you want to be good at being no good, you have to be no good for 60 minutes!
