Oops... Toronto transit removes penis-shaped map

TORONTO — Toronto transit workers removed a sign at Downsview station Tuesday morning after someone noticed a map of the bus platform was shaped like a penis, and photos began circulating on social media.
"Everybody who had seen the sign, it led some to believe it looked like a very phallic-looking symbol and we don't want any of our maps to be misconstrued, so we're in the midst of replacing it," Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) spokesman Brad Ross said.

"Did they really need to colour in the tip?" remarked one commenter.

I agree with the 1 person in the article - no way this was a accident.

Wow, I have no idea how something like that makes it into production without some one flagging it. Part of me wonders if the designer did it as a joke to get a cheap laugh and that version accidentally got sent out as the final version for production.

I don't understand how they fix this.
It's a map of the building. That's what the building looks like. Do they have to tear down the whole thing and rebuild it so it isn't long, skinny, and tapered?
