Yeah, I think you need to get over that. GDTs have been happening long before you joined up, and are here for all Flames fans to use. Dictating what happens within them is not really up to you, me, or anyone but ownership (and even Bingo doesn't try to control it's content).
Personally, I think having a simple poll with each game is a nice quick way to get in your thoughts on the game if you don't have time to eloborate. 156 voters (and counting) seem to agree.

Easy there. I didn't say anything about having control over anything, but I do put a lot of work into them, so I think my thoughts should be appreciated a little. I've always taken suggestions from the community to improve them, so it's not like I can't be flexible and responsive.
And 156 votes is around 1% of the amount of users who have visited this site today, so I don't take it as a significant sample.

I, for one, really enjoy your GDTs just the way they are Cali, and they generate plenty of thought and comment. I have no problem with GD polls but I'd rather they make up a separate thread.

Yup, that's fine. If someone wants to do that, go ahead. Nothing stopping them. I would just rather not add it to the GDTs.

To be fair: 166 votes and 1,288 members that have visited the forum today. Makes it 13%.
I like the polls in the GDT personally, seems like if you care its useful information and if you don't its easy to ignore.

There have also only been 64 members that have posted in this GDT so far compared to the 166 that voted, so the poll allows more members to contribute in some degree who otherwise wouldn't.

When I think Game Day Threads my mind doesn't think automatically of Cali Flames Fan. They've been around much longer then you and when you decide to drop them, someone else will continue.
